Ryu Skirt

There is something quietly subversive about the Ryu. A bubble skirt by construction, something altogether more considered in practice — the volume gathered and cinched at the hem gives the silhouette a sculptural weight that feels less decorative, more deliberate. It moves with you, but on its own terms.

The waistband sits low with a flat front and elasticated back, allowing the fabric to billow freely from hip to ankle, where it gathers again into a clean elastic hem. The result is a shape that is full without being fussy — architectural in the way it holds space, unselfconscious in the way it wears. A single side pocket grounds the piece in utility without disturbing the line.

Cut from a cotton-nylon-spandex blend, the fabric carries a subtle sheen that catches light as the skirt moves — neither matte nor precious, but somewhere in between. It pairs instinctively with a close-fitting knit and a heavy boot; the contrast is the point.
